Dash Group Opens New Exeter Depot to Boost South West Coverage

Depot Deal Strengthens South West Network

Dash Express, part of The Dash Group and The APC delivery network, has officially taken over The APC’s depot in Exeter as part of its South West expansion.

The 5,500 sq. ft. depot, based at Woodbury Business Park, is a key part of the group’s growth strategy. It adds to their current network in Plymouth and Redruth and gives the business stronger coverage across Devon and Cornwall.

Exeter, known as the gateway to the South West, will now play a bigger role in Dash Express’s operations. According to Paul Dash, Operations Director at The Dash Group, “Exeter plays an important role in our long-term strategy, and this latest investment reflects our ongoing commitment to providing SMEs with tailored delivery solutions that empower them to grow with confidence.”

Supporting Local Businesses

The move follows growing demand from local businesses in the region and builds on Dash Express’s recent opening of a larger site in Plymouth. By using The APC’s nationwide network, the firm says it can help more South West businesses connect with customers across the country.

More Jobs and a Greener Future

As part of the expansion, Dash Express is already hiring in Exeter, with roles including a New Business Manager. More jobs are expected as the company grows its services.

There are also plans to move to a larger site in the future, with potential for same-day delivery and pallet distribution services. Dash Express is aiming to invest in greener solutions too, with electric vehicle charging points and solar panels being considered for the site.

With its new Exeter depot up and running, Dash Express is positioning itself as a key logistics partner for businesses across Devon and Cornwall.
