Heating Installer Awards 2026 Open for Entries in the South West

The search is on for the South West’s best heating installers as the Heating Installer Awards 2026 open for entries.

Now in its 11th year, the competition is calling on top installers from across the UK to showcase their most impressive domestic projects, where technical expertise and problem-solving skills have delivered outstanding results.

Categories and How to Enter

Installers can put themselves forward in a number of categories, including regional awards, Best HVAC Installer, Best Renewables Installer, and Rising Star, which celebrates apprentices and those just starting out in the trade.

Homeowners can also nominate an installer who has impressed them. The awards team will then contact the installer to collect any further details. According to organisers, “no project is too big or small and often award-winning jobs are those where clever thinking was applied to solve a problem at hand.”

Entries are open until February 2026, with a judging panel of industry experts, professional bodies, and experienced installers set to review submissions. Entries will be scored on customer service, technical expertise, problem-solving, product knowledge, and overall results.

Cornwall Winners Already Making Their Mark

The South West has seen some stand-out winners in past years, including Joshua Bond from Off Grid in Cornwall and Dominic Nicholls of Roseland Plumbing and Heat Pumps in Truro. Both were recognised for their commitment to exceptional installations and customer service.

Regional winners in 2026 will not only gain local recognition but will also progress to the national stage. The overall UK winner will be crowned at Birmingham NEC in June 2026.

Prizes and Opportunities

As well as a prize bundle from sponsors, including a three-night stay at Danfoss’ HQ in Denmark, winners gain access to training sessions, networking opportunities, and exclusive events.

Industry backers for the 2026 awards include Danfoss, Powered Now, and Stelrad. Supporting partners are the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering, InstallerSHOW, and Refresh. Their support ensures the competition remains free to enter.
