Host Planet Roadshow Brings Self Catering Industry Event to Cornwall

A new national event focused on the self catering and short term rental sector is coming to Cornwall next month, bringing together property owners, managers and industry leaders from across the UK.

The Host Planet Roadshow will arrive in Cornwall on Thursday 5th February 2026, with the event taking place at Oceanside Hotel. The Cornwall date marks the first stop of a new UK wide series, with the event sponsored locally by Beach Retreats.

A Cornwall-first event for the short term rental sector

Host Planet Roadshow is described as an immersive, roundtable style event designed to bring together the short term rental community to collaborate, learn and discuss the future of hosting. Cornwall was selected as the starting point due to its position as one of the most active short term rental markets in the UK.

The event will focus on issues and insights that specifically affect Cornwall’s self catering and short term rental industry.

Industry leaders on the Cornwall panel

A Cornwall focused panel will be led by Andy Easton, Managing Director of Beach Retreats, alongside Katie Warren, a self catering industry advocate, and Andy Fenner, Chief Executive of the Short Term Accommodation Association.

According to the organisers, the aim is to strengthen collaboration within the sector and create opportunities for local companies to connect with larger suppliers while helping move the industry forward.
