Recycle it Global Acquires Chenoweth’s Trading Company to Expand Waste Services in Cornwall and Devon
Trusted waste firm rebrands as Recycle it Global expands across Cornwall and Devon
Recycle it Global (RIG) has confirmed the acquisition of Chenoweth’s Trading Company (CTC), a long-standing and respected waste collection business serving Cornwall and Devon.
The move marks the fourth operational site for RIG, adding to its growing network alongside RIG Scorrier, RIG Plymouth and RIG Newquay.
New Name, Same Local Team
The CTC name will gradually transition to RIG Roseland, a nod to its base on the Roseland Peninsula. The company’s existing services will remain in place, with the current team continuing to deliver collections across the region. The change represents a step forward in sustainable waste handling while keeping the same dependable service CTC customers know and trust.
Focus on Sustainability
CTC built its reputation around reliable holiday home and commercial waste collections. The company’s ethos of reducing landfill through flexible recycling and waste services closely matches RIG’s own environmental values.
“CTC’s core ethos, minimising landfill through tailored, reliable recycling and waste services echoes RIG’s own values,” said Philippa Sherrell, Communications Director at Recycle it Global.
Recycle it Global plans to support the Roseland site with further investment in technology, resources and training to strengthen the local service and expand operational capacity.
Strengthening Regional Coverage
By bringing CTC into its fold, RIG is expanding its postcode reach across Cornwall and into Devon. The company says this will allow it to better serve everything from coastal holiday lets to inland commercial operations.
“We’re passionate about building a circular economy that works for everyone—from holiday cottages to major infrastructure projects,” Philippa added.
Paul Nicholls, CEO and Co-Founder of Recycle it Global, said: “We’re proud to welcome the Chenoweth family’s legacy into Recycle it Global. Their long-standing commitment to the environment and local community is a perfect fit for our business.”
RIG Roseland is now part of Recycle it Global’s wider regional infrastructure, reinforcing its mission to reduce landfill and protect natural resources while maintaining the trusted local service customers expect.
