Police Name Couple Following Deaths in Camelford

Police have confirmed the names of two people found deceased in Camelford late last month.

Couple Found at Treclago View

Emergency services were called to a property in Treclago View at around 10pm on Wednesday 24th September following concerns for the welfare of two individuals. A police cordon was established while enquiries were carried out, but it has since been lifted.

Deaths Linked, No One Else Sought

Husband and wife, Anthony Buxton, aged 71, and Michele Buxton, aged 69, were both pronounced deceased at the scene. Their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Police have confirmed that Michele’s death is being treated as suspicious, and that both fatalities are linked. Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
