Cornwall’s St. Ewe Eggs Crack £110k for Pancreatic Cancer UK
A Month of Giving and Awareness
Award-winning Cornish brand St. Ewe Free Range Eggs has marked Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month this November with a major milestone, raising more than £110,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
The family-run business donates 5p from every dozen of its nutrient-packed Super Eggs™ sold, helping the charity fund expert support, vital research, and powerful campaigns to improve survival rates.
A Cause Close to Home
The creation of Super Eggs™ is a deeply personal story for St. Ewe. With a family history of pancreatitis, the team developed a product with enhanced antioxidant properties. Selenium, a key nutrient found in eggs, helps prevent cell damage and inflammation, making it a central element of the Super Eggs™ range.
Charles Tonks, son of founder and CEO Rebecca Tonks, said:
“It means the world to us to stand together in support of pancreatic cancer research. Through our amazing team’s efforts, we have been able to share our personal story and that of many others through our Super Eggs™ brand. This cause is deeply close to our hearts, and every contribution represents hope for those affected and progress toward better treatments and brighter futures. We’re incredibly proud to play a part in making a difference, and we’re so grateful to be able to reach as many people through our brand as we have.”
Nutritional Powerhouse in Every Egg
Super Eggs™ are enriched with Vitamin D, DHA Omega-3, and higher levels of Selenium compared to standard eggs. Just two Super Eggs™ provide 45% of your daily Selenium needs and 65% of your DHA Omega-3. They’re designed to support:
-
Strength (Vitamin D and Protein)
-
Immunity (Selenium)
-
Mind (DHA Omega 3 and Vitamin B)
The eggs are available in packs of six at Ocado, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and The Great Cornish Food Store, with an RRP of £2.75.
