St Ives Bay Community Choir to Hold Christmas Concerts for Edward Hain Centre

The St Ives Bay Community Choir is preparing to hold two Christmas concerts in support of the Edward Hain Centre, continuing a long-running relationship between the choir and the community facility.

Two concerts lined up for December

The first concert takes place this Tuesday, 2nd December at 7.30 pm at the Tregenna Castle Hotel. The second will follow on Thursday, 11th December at the Carbis Bay Hotel. Entry to both events is free. There will be a raffle at each concert, and a bar will be available.

The choir is led by choirmaster William Thomas and is well loved in St Ives. These Christmas events are the latest in a series of performances the group has donated in aid of the Edward Hain Centre.

Long standing support for the Edward Hain Centre

In 2022 the choir performed a Jubilee Concert and donated £800 towards the purchase of the hospital building. They later performed again that year at the announcement that a deal had been reached with the NHS.
In September 2023 they opened an Open Weekend marking the completion of the building’s purchase and the official inauguration of the Edward Hain Centre.
