Access4ALL Discount Card Launched to Support SEND Families in Cornwall
A new discount card has been launched in Cornwall to help children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.
What is Access4ALL?
The scheme, called Access4ALL, has been developed by the council-run Family Information Service (FIS). It offers exclusive discounts at Cornish venues, helping families make everyday life more affordable.
So far, almost 20 businesses have signed up, ranging from bakeries and fish and chip shops to attractions and gyms.
Designed by a 10-Year-Old
The card features a design created by 10-year-old school pupil Logan Baker, who won a competition run by the FIS team to draw a picture promoting inclusivity.
Council Support
Cllr Hilary Frank, Cabinet Member for Children, Families and Schools, said:
"The Access4ALL card gives eligible families access to exclusive discounts and priority offers helping to make everyday life more affordable and inclusive.
It is a fantastic scheme, reinforcing our commitment to supporting children and young people with SEND and their families across Cornwall."
