Cornwall Women’s Fund Celebrates International Women’s Day with a Focus on Mental Health

Cornwall Women’s Fund is set to mark International Women’s Day with a special event dedicated to celebrating gender equality and addressing the critical issue of women and girls’ mental health. Scheduled for Thursday, 7th March at 6 pm, the gathering will take place at Take Point Training in Falmouth, offering a platform for discussion, networking, and inspiration.

Under the theme “Inspire Inclusion,” the event aims to envision a world where gender equality is the norm, and diversity, equity, and inclusion are embraced in all facets of society. It’s a call to action to value and celebrate differences, challenging bias, stereotypes, and discrimination to forge a path toward women’s equality.

This year’s event is particularly significant as it highlights the Cornwall Women’s Fund’s 2024 grant funding focus on mental health for women and girls. Recognising the importance of mental well-being, the Fund invites guests to a panel discussion featuring experts and advocates who will share insights on supporting mental health for individuals, staff, beneficiaries, friends, and families.
