Free Chair Yoga Returns to Redruth This January

Members of the local Oddfellows group have marked the end of the year with their final monthly chair yoga session at Oddfellows Hall on Green Lane in Redruth, followed by a Christmas buffet enjoyed together.

The sessions have combined gentle exercise with a strong social element, offering members a relaxed way to stay active while spending time with others in the community.

The first chair yoga session of the New Year is scheduled for Monday 19th January 2026 at 10.30am.

Gentle Yoga Open to All Abilities

The one hour sessions are led by Chrissie, a highly qualified instructor with experience teaching for the NHS and a range of community organisations. The chair based exercises are designed to support flexibility, strength and relaxation, making them suitable for people of all experience levels.

Both beginners and those familiar with yoga are welcome, with the sessions offering a calm and inclusive setting.

Free for Members, Open to Non Members

Chair yoga is free for Oddfellows members. Non members are also welcome to attend, with a small fee requested. All contributions go directly to the Oddfellows charity fund, which supports a range of local causes.

Spaces are limited, so non members are asked to book in advance.
