  • 13:00-16:00: Newquay Library, Newquay Library & Information Service

The sessions aim to give the community an opportunity to contribute their thoughts on what direction the airport should take in the coming years. Cornwall Airport Newquay plays a vital role in connecting the region with the rest of the UK and beyond, making it an important issue for many.

Why Get Involved?

As one of the key transport hubs in the South West, the airport’s future development could impact tourism, local businesses, and connectivity for Cornwall. Whether you’re a frequent flyer or just interested in the region’s infrastructure, this is your chance to have your say.

Don’t miss out on the chance to make your voice heard. If you can’t attend the sessions in person, be sure to stay updated through the Cornwall Council website for further engagement opportunities.

Newquay airport is a Master Diversion Airport. (MDA) and is extremely important when military aircraft need to be diverted to land in Newquay.

Newquay airport also has one of the longest runways in Europe, so why isn;’t it being used by main holiday companies flying to the mediterranean and beyond?
It would certainly ease SW customers, instead of having to get to Gatwick, Heathrow, bristol or Birmingham to start their vacations.
