Cornwall Apprentice Claims Top Award – What Set Him Apart?
An Engineering Technician Apprentice from Cornwall College St Austell has been recognised for his exceptional skills, earning the title of Manufacturing Final Year Apprentice of the Year 2025 at Plymouth’s Apprentice of the Year Awards.
Award-Winning Dedication
Dan Piaskowski, a fourth-year apprentice at The Cornwall Bakery, specialises in mechatronics, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery. His dedication and contributions to the company led to his nomination, with his employer recognising his hard work and commitment.
The awards, hosted by the Plymouth Manufacturing Group and Building Cornwall, celebrate outstanding apprentices in construction and manufacturing across Plymouth and the surrounding areas. Dan was one of 45 finalists, with winners announced on Wednesday, 12th February 2025.
A Proud Moment
Expressing his gratitude, Dan said:
“I am deeply honoured. The support from my employer has been instrumental in my development, and I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunities I’ve had to grow and showcase my skills.”
