Cornwall College Students Celebrate Outstanding Level 3 Results

Cornwall College students are celebrating today, Friday 15th August 2025, after receiving their Level 3 results, marking the best outcomes the college has seen in many years. The achievement builds on the college’s earlier Ofsted judgement, which recognised it as an Outstanding provider.

Record-Breaking Results Across Cornwall and Devon

Every single student on 92 different courses passed their qualification, a feat that spans the college’s campuses in both Cornwall and Devon. These results cover sectors identified as key to future economic growth, with learners now moving on to university, apprenticeships and employment.

At Cornwall College Camborne and Cornwall College St Austell, 100% pass rates were achieved in Childcare and Education, Art and Design, Esports, Film and Television, Games Design, Media Production, Performing Arts, Photography, Engineering, Beauty Therapy, Nail Services, Professional Cookery, Travel and Tourism and Uniform Services.

Over at Falmouth Marine School, all students passed their qualifications in Marine Conservation and Water Sports.

Success at Land-Based Campuses

The strong performance continued at the college’s land-based campuses — Bicton College, Duchy College Rosewarne and Duchy College Stoke Climsland — where 100% of students passed in Animal Management, Equine Management, Agriculture, Forestry and Arboriculture, Sport and Uniform Services.

The College’s Golf students also achieved a 100% pass rate in Sport Performance and Excellence.

Praise for Students’ Dedication

Cornwall College’s Executive Principal, Mark Wardle, praised the achievement:

“The success of our students is a testament to their hard work and dedication. Their outstanding results give them the qualifications they need to progress on to their next step which will include progression on to higher education, higher apprenticeships and employment. These results also reflect the outstanding quality of teaching and learning and student experience across our Cornwall College campuses. As a college we have the highest expectations for our students to ensure they fulfil their potential, and we are so very proud of what they have achieved.”
