East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team Honoured with King Charles III Coronation Medals
On Monday, several dedicated members of the East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team were honoured with the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medals.
This accolade is awarded to individuals who have been part of a search and rescue team for over five years, recognising their unwavering commitment and service.
The medals were presented by Sam Galsworthy, The High Sheriff of Cornwall, in a ceremony steeped in tradition. The role of the High Sheriff, which dates back over 900 years, added a significant historical context to the event, making it even more memorable for the recipients and attendees.
