New Year’s Day Brown Willy Run Raises £3,111 for East Cornwall Rescue Team
East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team has thanked everyone who took part in the New Year’s Day Brown Willy run, after the event raised £3,111.74 for the charity.
The team said the total represents around 10 per cent of the amount needed each year to keep the service running. The money will go directly towards keeping the team operational whenever and wherever they are needed, potentially to help friends or family members across Cornwall and beyond.
Supporting a 100% voluntary service
East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team provides an inland search and rescue service for lost, missing and injured people across East Cornwall, and further afield when required. The team is entirely voluntary and relies on public support to continue operating.
