Arrest Made After Indecent Exposure Reports in Falmouth and Helston
Police have arrested a 16 year old boy following a series of indecent exposures reported in both Falmouth and Helston between May and December 2025.
Eight Reports Across Two Towns
Officers say they received eight reports of a male exposing himself to women who were out walking or running. The incidents took place in several locations in Falmouth, including an alleyway behind Falmouth Fire Station, Tregoniggie Woods and Bickland Water Road. One incident was also reported near the River Cober in Helston.
A 16 year old local boy has been arrested in connection with the reports. He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Police Statement
Sector Inspector Rick Milburn said: “We appreciate that these incidents have been causing concern within the communities around Falmouth and Helston.
“Officers have investigated each report leading to a suspect being identified and an arrest being made today by the Falmouth and Helston Police Neighbourhood Team.
“The lengthy and detailed investigation has been carried out in conjunction with our local partner agencies and we’d like to thank them for their support.
“We want people to feel safe where they live and encourage anyone who has seen any suspicious or inappropriate behaviour to report it via 101 or our website or 999 in case of an emergency.”
