Police Release Image Following Suspected Arson in Camborne
Police investigating a suspected arson attack in Camborne have released an image of a man they want to identify.
The incident happened in St Meriadoc Road at around 3.30am on Thursday 20th November 2025. Two cars were destroyed in the blaze.
What Happened
Police were called to the scene by the fire service, which tackled the fire. Officers believe the blaze was started deliberately and enquiries are ongoing.
A man in his 50s has previously been arrested on suspicion of arson. He has since been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
Image Appeal Launched
Officers are now appealing to the public to help identify another man they would like to speak to. The individual, who is pictured in an image released by police, has not yet been identified and may have information that could help the investigation.
Emily Wood said:
“Our investigation is continuing into this incident and we are specifically looking to identify the male pictured as part of these enquiries.
“We recognise the image is not of the best quality, but would urge anyone who may recognise this individual or who may have seen someone of this appearance in the area at the time of the incident to contact us.”
