Police Speed Checks Across Cornwall: 5th to 11th January
Speed enforcement activity is taking place across Cornwall and parts of Devon this week, with officers visiting a wide range of towns and key routes.
The activity has been confirmed by the Devon & Cornwall Police Road Safety Team and runs from Monday 5th January through to Sunday 11th January.
Drivers are also being asked to take extra care due to cold and icy conditions predicted during the week.
Monday
Newquay, Truro, St Austell, Liskeard, Bodmin, Exeter and the A3052 at Woodbury.
Tuesday
Penzance, Helston, Hayle, Launceston, Bodmin, Plymouth, Tiverton, Cullompton, the A30 in West Devon and Paignton.
Wednesday
Camborne, Redruth, Liskeard, Bodmin, Plymouth, the A361 North Devon Link Road and Teignmouth.
Thursday
Redruth, Penryn, Truro, Launceston, Bodmin, the A39 in North Devon and South Hams.
Friday
Plymouth, Taw and Torridge, the A30 in West Devon, the A380 in South Devon, Exeter and Crediton.
Saturday
Redruth, Truro, Launceston, Bodmin, St Austell, Plymouth, Tiverton, Cullompton, Honiton and Ottery St Mary.
Sunday
Redruth, Truro, Falmouth, Yelverton, Okehampton, Exeter and Sourton.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, particularly where ice may be present, and to be aware of speed checks throughout the week.
