Surfboards and Trailer Stolen in Bude: Police Appeal for Information
Police are urging the public to come forward with information following a high-value theft near Bude that has left a local surf club reeling.
Theft at Widemouth Beach Car Park
The theft occurred between 4.30pm on Friday, 6th December, and 11am on Saturday, 7th December, at Widemouth Beach car park. An Ifor Williams box trailer, clearly marked with “OA Surf Club” in blue and white, was taken from the location.
Inside the trailer were 34 surfboards with a combined value of ÂŁ15,000.
Police Seek CCTV and Witnesses
Investigating officers are asking anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage that might have captured suspicious activity in the area to get in touch.
They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who might have noticed unusual behaviour during the theft timeframe or who may have purchased a trailer or surfboard similar to the one described.
