Biffy Clyro to Rock Cornwall for the First Time – Eden Sessions Announces 2025 Show
Biffy Clyro’s Long-Awaited Cornwall Debut
Scottish rock giants Biffy Clyro are set to play in Cornwall for the first time, with the band announced as a headline act for the Eden Sessions on 10th July 2025. This will be a historic moment for fans in the region, as the multi-award-winning band brings their explosive live performance to the iconic Eden Project Biomes.
Supporting them on the night will be Nova Twins, a Mercury Music Prize and two-time BRIT Award-nominated duo known for their electrifying sound and high-energy shows.
One of the UK’s Biggest Rock Bands
Biffy Clyro have cemented themselves as one of the most successful British rock bands, with three UK number one albums and headline performances at major festivals including Reading and Leeds, Download, TRNSMT, and the Isle of Wight Festival. Their November 2022 arena tour saw them sell out The O2 in London and Glasgow’s OVO Hydro, proving their immense live appeal.
The band’s accolades include:
- Four NME Awards (including Best British Band and Best Live Band)
- Five Kerrang! Awards (including Best British Band and Classic Songwriter)
- Two Q Awards (Best Live Band and Best Album)
- Three BRIT Award nominations for Best British Group
- A Mercury Prize nomination for Only Revolutions (2009)
With critical praise hailing their live performances as “simply astonishing” (Kerrang!) and “crowd-pleasing without compromise” (NME), Biffy Clyro’s Eden Sessions debut promises to be a night to remember.
Nova Twins to Set the Stage on Fire
Nova Twins, made up of Amy Love and Georgia South, are one of the most celebrated duos in modern rock music. They made history in 2022 as the first black rock band to be shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize and played a key role in getting alternative music recognised at the MOBO Awards.
The pair have toured with rock heavyweights including Foo Fighters, Muse, and Bring Me The Horizon, and have performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury and Japan’s Summer Sonic.
Eden Sessions Excitement
Eden Sessions managing director Rita Broe expressed the excitement of finally bringing Biffy Clyro to Cornwall, saying:
“Biffy are one of the most exciting and celebrated British rock bands of recent years and we can’t wait to see them and Nova Twins play against the backdrop of the Eden Project Biomes.”
“Biffy always rank highly among bands people would like to see at the Eden Sessions so it’s incredibly exciting to be able to bring them to Cornwall for the first time.”
