Egg Hunt with a Twist

A massive Easter celebration is coming to the Eden Project from 5th to 21st April, featuring a giant egg trail, stunning wildflower art, and interactive games designed to bring families closer to nature.

Visitors will be challenged to track down six giant eggs, each with its own story revealing fascinating facts about the natural world. Those who complete the trail and fill out their trail cards can claim a chocolate reward.

That’s not all – hundreds of eggs of all shapes and sizes will be hidden across the site, giving guests the chance to guess the total number for a shot at winning a special Easter hamper.

Wildflower Art Comes to Life

The Eden Project’s Outdoor Gardens will be in full bloom this spring, further enhanced by the colourful work of Graphic Rewilding, an artist collective that partners with the National Wildflower Centre. Their artwork – designed to support mental health and wellbeing – will appear across huge banners, games, and even pop-up seating areas fitted with calming nature soundscapes.

Graphic Rewilding said:

“We’ve loved researching and hand drawing these wildflowers and couldn’t be more thrilled to be developing our work with the Eden Project, who’s goal of inspiring and uplifting the public through nature completely aligns with our own creative sensibilities.”

Games and Activities for All Ages

In the heart of the site, the Stage area will become a bustling games zone, offering fun with a nature-themed twist. From crazy golf to croquet and netball, each game has been designed to encourage curiosity about the environment and the ways people can help support nature recovery. Younger visitors can also enjoy the dedicated Soft Play Zone.

For those seeking a slower pace, there will be plenty of spots to relax and take in the vibrant Graphic Rewilding installations alongside peaceful nature soundtracks.

A Celebration of Nature and Spring

Simon Townsend, General Manager at the Eden Project, said:

“As the days get lighter and our gardens begin to wake up for the season, our Easter activities will encourage our visitors to not only have fun but also engage with, and become one with, nature.

“Through our Nature Connections programmes at the Eden Project and our events in communities throughout the country, such as The Big Lunch, we know how our wellbeing can be boosted by letting nature into our lives. We hope families and friends will come together and join us this Easter to celebrate the wonders of spring and the amazing nature that comes with it.”
