From Runway to Rainforest: RuPaul’s Drag Race Star Stuns at the Eden Project

Fresh from the latest series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Cornish drag performer Pasty has recreated her show-stopping Eden Project look inside the world-famous attraction itself.

A Glamorous Homecoming

Pasty, who hails from Cornwall, returned to the Eden Project’s Rainforest Biome to bring her Drag Race look to life once more. Her outfit, first seen in episode one of the new series, was inspired by the Eden Project’s distinctive Biomes and even featured an umbrella shaped to resemble one.

Whilst visiting Eden, Pasty posed against stunning backdrops in the Rainforest Biome and even strutted her way across the rope bridge, bringing a touch of glamour to the tropical setting.

Pasty said: “I’m very honoured to bring my hometown look from Drag Race UK to the Eden Project.

“Growing up in the area, I came here a lot as a child on many school trips and days out. It’s such a fabulous place and it’s been amazing to come back and have some fun.”

The Rainforest in Bloom

The Eden Project’s vast indoor rainforest is home to over 1,000 plant species, offering visitors an awe-inspiring glimpse into the diversity and importance of rainforests around the world.

In June this year, a baobab tree in the Biome flowered for what is believed to be the first time in the UK. More recently, in September, a rare and endangered coco de mer palm produced its first mature leaf, thought to be the largest of its kind in the country.
