Snow Patrol’s 2026 Eden Session Comeback Sparks Big Excitement

Northern Irish alt rock band Snow Patrol will make a major return to the Eden Sessions stage in 2026, marking ten years since their first appearance at the Eden Project.

A Decade Since Their First Eden Sessions Show

Snow Patrol will perform on Thursday 18th June 2026, becoming the sixth headline act announced for next year’s Sessions. They last played the Eden Sessions in 2016 and returned once more for the September Sessions in 2021.

The band, formed in Dundee, has released eight studio albums. Their breakthrough came with Final Straw in 2003, which went five times Platinum and became one of the UK’s biggest albums of 2004. They followed it with Eyes Open in 2006, which produced the massive hit Chasing Cars. The song became the most played track on UK radio in the 21st Century and was the final performance on BBC’s Top of the Pops in 2006.

Their latest album, The Forest is the Path (2024), reached number one in the UK.

Today’s line-up features Nathan Connolly, founding member Gary Lightbody and Johnny McDaid. The group has collected seven Meteor Ireland Music Awards along with BRIT and Grammy nominations.

Eden Sessions director Simon Townsend said: “Snow Patrol defined the 00s post-Britpop era, and it’s incredible to be welcoming them back to the Eden Sessions stage 10 years on from their first acclaimed show and during Eden’s landmark 25th year. Judging by their previous two performances, this one promises to be nothing short of spectacular.”

As with all Eden Sessions shows, tickets include free two day access to the Eden Project’s gardens and Biomes on the day of the concert and the day after.

Tickets and Sales Information

Tickets for Snow Patrol at the Eden Project cost £71.00 plus a £9.30 booking fee and are available through the Eden Sessions website.

Tickets are on sale now to Inside Track pass holders, with general sale opening at 3pm on Monday 8th December 2025.
