Award-winning artist Diane Griffiths will be giving a short talk at the Nansledan Arts Festival this Sunday. Diane recently won The People’s Choice Award 2024 in The British Art Prize with her painting Driving Home, featuring the Newquay Texaco garage.
In this session, she’ll share her experience of entering the competition, running a voting campaign, receiving the award, and taking part in a London exhibition, along with being featured in Artists & Illustrators magazine. She’ll also offer tips on submitting to art competitions and reflect on why rejection isn’t personal.
