Redruth’s International Mining and Pasty Festival returns for three days of celebrations, heritage, and of course, pasties.

Friday 19th September: Storytelling walk from the Tin Miner Statue (4:30pm) to Wheal Uny Mines with guides from Cobweb Tours. The mine stacks will be smoked in tribute to mining communities, including twinned towns in the USA, France and Mexico.

Saturday 20th September: Market stalls, performances on the main stage, an exhibition on poet John Harris, and heritage talks at Wesley Chapel. Crimping demonstration and competition with Etherington’s at 11:40am. Pasty Competitions judged at 3pm in the Buttermarket, with Kernow King on the panel. Workshops throughout the day with Pasty Box CIC.

Sunday 21st September: Pilgrimage walk from Wheal Basset Stamps (10am) to Wheal Uny Mines, led by Rev Becca Bell, followed by a service at St Euny Church. Pasties served for lunch.
