Falmouth Set for a Christmas Weekend You Won’t Want to Miss
Falmouth is getting ready to turn into a full winter wonderland as Festive Weekend returns on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December. The two day event brings back many of the Christmas favourites that have made it one of the town’s most popular celebrations.
Two Days of Seasonal Fun
Organised by the Falmouth Town Team, which brings together Falmouth Town Council and Falmouth BID, the Festive Weekend will run from 11am to 5pm on both days. Entry to all family friendly attractions is £2 per person, with all money raised going towards Falmouth’s Christmas activities in 2026.
Visitors can expect:
-
An artificial ice rink
-
A festive land train
-
A giant snow globe
-
Live carol singers
-
Santa’s Grotto
-
Christmas characters roaming the streets
-
Snowy scenes throughout the town
Independent shops will be open across the weekend for anyone hoping to pick up Christmas gifts and support local businesses.
Start the Festivities Early
Falmouth After 5 takes place on Friday 5th December, with local businesses offering exclusive deals, special menus and events. It forms part of First Friday, which runs monthly until March 2026.
A New Drone Display for 2025
A festive themed drone display will take place at Church Street car park at 5.30pm on Friday 5th December. The display features 50 drones and is organised in partnership with Councillor Alan Jewell, Mayor of Falmouth. If the weather turns, the display will be postponed to 5.30pm on Saturday 6th December.
