Padstow Christmas Fayre Launches New Shop Supporting Lifeboat Crews

Padstow Christmas Fayre has launched a brand-new online shop celebrating Cornish creativity, with donations from every sale going to The Fishermen’s Mission and Padstow Lifeboat.

A Celebration of Cornwall’s Festive Spirit

The free-to-attend four-day food event will take place around Padstow’s harbour from December 4th to 7th, bringing a magical celebration of the season.

The Fayre’s new shop showcases a handpicked collection of beautiful items created by Cornish artists and makers, inspired by folklore traditions and yuletide celebrations. Visitors can expect everything from art and homewares to festive gifts influenced by the magic of Padstow.

A Festive Collaboration

In a special partnership, the Fayre has joined forces with Padstow-based Southwestern Distillery to produce a limited-edition Tarquin’s Padstow Christmas Fayre Gin. The small-batch spirit is infused with handpicked violets and fresh orange zest, capturing the flavours of the season and the spirit of the Cornish coast.

Handcrafted Gifts and Cornish Favourites

The curated collection also includes handprinted artwork, Christmas cards, tea towels, tote bags, a Cornish wine box and an indulgent Christmas hamper.
The hamper is filled with festive treats such as Paul Ainsworth’s ‘For The Love of Food’ cookbook, Camel Valley Brut, Cornish Larder Figgy Pudding Chutney, and a Stein’s St Eval Padstow Christmas candle.

Supporting Cornwall’s Maritime Heritage

In true community spirit, a donation from every sale will support The Fishermen’s Mission and Padstow Lifeboat (RNLI), two organisations that continue to care for Cornwall’s coastal communities all year round.

Ben Carrington, of event organisers Mission Code, said:

“The Fayre is about celebrating the best of Cornwall — its food, creativity, and community. Our collaboration with Tarquin’s and the launch of our new shop helps bring that spirit to life, allowing us to spotlight incredible local producers while supporting those who look after our coastal communities year-round.”
