Falmouth Fire Station Fireworks Night Display Cancelled for 2025
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that this year’s Fireworks Night Display, traditionally organised by Falmouth Fire Station, will not go ahead on Bonfire Night, 5th November 2025.
Decision Made After Multi-Agency Discussions
The Service said the decision “has not been taken lightly.” After discussions with multiple agencies, it became clear that the 2025 event could not be delivered to “the standard of safety and organisation that our community rightly expects.”
A Much-Loved Event Missing from the Calendar
The fireworks display has long been a highlight in Falmouth’s calendar, bringing together families and friends for an evening of celebration while supporting local community groups and charities. Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said its absence this year “will certainly be felt.”
Plans to Return in the Future
Despite the cancellation, the organising team remains committed to working with partners to bring the display back in future years.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service added: “We’d like to thank everyone for their understanding, patience and continued support.”
Firework Safety Reminder
Those planning to celebrate Bonfire Night at home are being reminded to stay safe when using fireworks or sparklers and to follow the advice available on the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service website
