Royal Cornwall Show Introduces New Format for The Duke of Cornwall’s Award

The Royal Cornwall Show has announced an exciting change in the format of the Duke of Cornwall’s Award for 2024. This accolade will now honour farm businesses that have made significant strides in sustainable farming, forestry, and food production.

Open to farm businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly; the award seeks to highlight those who have ‘risen to the challenge of delivering a creative and balanced approach to farming whilst maintaining or enhancing nature and moving towards net zero’ .

The recipient of the Duke of Cornwall’s Award will receive a certificate signed by HRH The Duke of Cornwall, symbolising royal recognition of their sustainable efforts. Additionally, the winner will receive a £1,000 cash prize, further incentivising sustainable practices in the farming community.
