Falmouth Calls on Community and Businesses for Spring Clean Event
Falmouth is set to witness a significant beautification effort on the 13th and 14th of March, 2024, as local businesses and community members join forces for the Falmouth Spring Clean. This initiative aims to enhance the visual appeal of the town centre, making it more inviting for both residents and visitors.
Organisers are reaching out for volunteers to participate in a wide range of activities designed to revitalise the town. The cleanup efforts will focus on specific areas predetermined to need the most attention. Activities will include re-painting, power washing, litter-picking, rejuvenating green spaces, graffiti removal, beach cleaning, and other essential maintenance tasks.
The event is a call to action for anyone willing to lend a hand, be it local businesses contributing by refreshing their storefronts or individuals volunteering their time. The concerted effort to uplift Falmouth’s town centre underscores the community’s commitment to its environment and the collective responsibility towards maintaining its charm and beauty.
Those interested in participating in the Falmouth Spring Clean are encouraged to contact hayley@falmouth.co.uk for more information on how to get involved.
The initiative represents an excellent opportunity for the community to come together, showcasing the power of collective action in making tangible improvements to their town.
