Falmouth Week 2025 Programme Released Ahead of August Festival
Falmouth Week 2025 digital programme goes live with packed 10-day schedule
With just two weeks to go, the countdown to Falmouth Week 2025 is officially on. Running from Friday 8th to Sunday 17th August, this year’s summer celebration promises an action-packed blend of sailing, live music, family fun and community spirit, all detailed in the newly released official digital programme.
Rooted in tradition since 1837, what started as a local sailing regatta has evolved into one of Cornwall’s biggest summer events, welcoming thousands of visitors to the town each year.
Big Names, Big Nights
The shoreside entertainment will once again take over the Waterfront Marquee on Church Street car park, with standout performances from Scouting for Girls and Craig Charles, along with crowd-pleasers Fleetwood Bac and The Bohemians.
New additions for 2025 include a Britpop Tribute Dance-Off, a Swift & Styles Experience, and a throwback 80s vs 00s Extravaganza to close out the week. Expect sets from Doctor & the Medics, DJ Paul Chuckle, Judge Jules, and Tommie Quick.
Community Highlights
A key moment for many will be the return of the Falmouth Carnival on Saturday 9th August, which will feature decorated floats and new parade themes for the first time in over twenty years. Entry to the Waterfront Marquee that evening will be free, with live music from Falmouth Soul Sensation after the parade.
Also returning is the Pink Wig Mermaid March on Friday 8th August, now backed by a new partnership that has secured its future. The march continues to support Cornwall’s dedicated breast cancer facility.
On Friday 15th August, the skies over the harbour will be lit up with a fireworks display by Celebration Pyrotechnics, a firm Falmouth Week favourite.
Family-Friendly Activities
Across The Moor and Events Square, families can enjoy a huge range of free entertainment throughout the week. Attractions include:
-
Savage Skills Cycle Stunt Team
-
Interactive murder mystery performances
-
Mini-golf and supersized games
-
Creative workshops and eclectic markets
Don’t Miss the Red Arrows
One of the most anticipated moments of the week will be the return of the RAF Red Arrows, who are set to perform a breathtaking display above Falmouth Bay at 6:15pm on Wednesday 13th August.
Community Support and Thanks
Richard Gates, Falmouth Town Manager, said:

A huge thank you to all the sponsors, supporters and partners who have helped make this year’s event programme the biggest and best yet.
