Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service is currently tackling a significant fire involving green waste in the Falmouth area. Crews are actively working alongside partner agencies to reduce the impact on both the local community and the environment.

Health Warning for Residents

Due to the fire, varying levels of smoke are expected in the area for some time. Residents, particularly those with conditions such as asthma, are advised to take precautions. Keeping windows and doors closed may help to reduce exposure to the smoke. Should anyone experience new or worsening symptoms, they are urged to contact their GP or NHS 111 for advice.
