Still Time to Grab Tickets for Flushing’s Cornish-Themed Panto
Seats Available for The Parrots of Penzance This February
Tickets are still available for the Flushing Pantomime Group’s highly anticipated 2025 production, The Parrots of Penzance. This Cornish-themed panto, celebrating the group’s 40th anniversary, promises to be a memorable mix of local flair and family-friendly fun.
A Story Like No Other
Set to run from Tuesday 11th to Saturday 15th February 2025 at Flushing Church Hall, the play tells the whimsical tale of Edmundo and Consuela, two giant Peruvian parrots shipwrecked off Land’s End. The pair embarks on a daring journey to return home while navigating an array of dubious characters who have other plans for them.
Director Sue Lightfoot explained the fresh approach this year: “We’ve always gone down the traditional panto script route but this is the 40th year of Flushing panto, and we really wanted to try something different. You can expect the usual panto frolics with some Cornish characters and pasties thrown in!”
How to Get Your Tickets
Tickets are available at Flushing Village Stores for £10, with the exception of Tuesday’s performance, which is priced at £14.50 and includes a pasty. All proceeds will support Flushing Primary School.
Don’t Miss Out
Make sure to secure your seats and enjoy this unique celebration of Cornish culture and comedy. Tickets are selling fast, so act now to avoid missing out!
