Who Will Win Falmouth’s Spookiest Shop Window 2025? Children Take Charge of the Judging

Children from Marlborough Primary and Falmouth Primary Academy stepped into the role of judges this week as they toured Falmouth town centre for the annual Halloween shop window competition.

Armed with clipboards and plenty of enthusiasm, the young judges visited businesses across the town to score displays for effort, spookiness and creativity.

Shops Go All Out for Halloween

This year’s competition has seen shops transform their windows with frightful flair. Among those getting into the Halloween spirit are Reynolds Opticians, Maya’s, Georgia’s Voice, Posh Pants, Kitty Gubbins, Kindles, Jezebel, Grey Lurcher, Rieker, Cancer Research, British Heart Foundation, Children’s Hospice South West, SoSweet, Flapjackery, South Paw Dog Store, Treaty Jewellery, The Cornish Store and Longstaffs.

Take the Spooky Trail

Locals are being encouraged to take a Halloween window trail around the town and share their favourite displays on Instagram by tagging @lovefalmouth and using the hashtag #lovefalmouth.

A huge thank you has been given to the pupils of Marlborough Primary and Falmouth Primary Academy for their hard work judging this year’s competition. The winners will be announced on Halloween.
