Cornwall Gold Café Wins Gold at Taste of the West Awards 2025

The team at The Pantry, Cornwall Gold’s much-loved café, are celebrating after being awarded the prestigious Gold Award at the Taste of the West Awards 2025.

As the UK’s largest regional food and drink awards, Taste of the West recognises outstanding quality, flavour and provenance. This latest win highlights Cornwall Gold’s ongoing commitment to showcasing the best local produce while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Ten Years of Culinary Excellence

The award marks a milestone tenth Gold Award for The Pantry. It comes at a time when the café is undergoing a stylish revamp, ready to welcome visitors for Cornwall Gold’s Christmas Market this December.

A Unique Cornish Destination

Set in 18 acres of beautiful Cornish landscape, Cornwall Gold combines heritage, craftsmanship and food in one free-to-enter attraction. Alongside the award-winning café sits the Grade II Listed Tolgus Mill, the last working tin mill of its kind in Europe.

Visitors can explore the interactive Tolgus exhibition, try free panning for gold, or enjoy activities such as Pick-A-Pearl, pottery painting, and The Bear Works. The site also includes a jewellery showroom featuring pieces containing Tolgus tin, milled on-site.

Cornwall Gold is dog-friendly, offers free parking, and is open daily with free entry.
