Cornwall’s food festival season is set to return in 2026, bringing together local produce, coastal settings and a packed calendar of events from spring through to winter.

From harbourside towns to sandy beaches and festive markets, the year ahead features several well known food and drink celebrations across the county.

Porthleven Food Festival

24th to 26th April 2026

The season gets underway in April with the free to attend Porthleven Food Festival. Over three days, the harbour town becomes a focal point for food lovers, with chef demonstrations, local produce stalls, street food, feast nights, masterclasses, live music and family entertainment.

St Ives Food & Drink Festival

15th to 17th May 2026

In mid May, Porthminster Beach hosts the St Ives Food & Drink Festival, billed as the UK’s only food festival on a beach. The three day event combines chef demonstrations, artisan stalls, live music and food experiences, all with views across the bay.

Falmouth Oyster Festival

October 2026, dates to be confirmed

As autumn arrives, the Falmouth Oyster Festival takes place in October. One of Cornwall’s longest established events, it marks the start of the native oyster dredging season.

Across four days, the festival features seafood, cookery demonstrations, live entertainment and artisan markets. Highlights include oyster shucking competitions, talks, live music and activities for families. Daytime events are free to attend, with ticketed entertainment in the evenings. Padstow Christmas Fayre

December 2026, dates to be confirmed

The year concludes with the Padstow Christmas Fayre, a four day celebration held around Padstow’s harbour each December. Free to attend, the event builds on previous years, with 50 chef demonstrations held in 2025 alongside masterclasses, artisan markets, lantern parades, fireworks, live music and family activities.
