Man Seriously Injured in Collision on B3301 in Hayle

A serious road traffic collision in Hayle has left a man with potentially life-changing injuries, with police now appealing for witnesses.

Collision on the B3301

Officers were called at around 8.10am on Saturday 23rd August to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the B3301 at Griggs Hill, Hayle.

The incident involved a black BMW and a Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle, a 52-year-old local man, sustained potentially life-changing injuries as a result of the collision.

The driver of the car was not injured.

Emergency Response

Police, fire, ambulance and air ambulance crews attended the scene. The road was closed while an investigation took place.

Police Appeal

A spokesperson said:

"We are investigating a serious injury road traffic collision in Hayle at the weekend and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

We would ask that if anyone has witnessed the collision or has any CCTV or dash cam footage, to contact us via our website or by calling 101, quoting log 201 of 23/8/25."

Police are continuing their enquiries.
