Overnight A30 Hayle Bypass Closures Planned for Resurfacing Work
A30 Hayle Bypass Night Closures Start This Week. Are You Affected?
Overnight closures are due to begin on the A30 Hayle Bypass next week as resurfacing work gets underway.
National Highways will be resurfacing both the eastbound and westbound carriageways between Loggans Moor roundabout and St Erth roundabout.
When the road will be closed
The A30 Hayle Bypass will be closed overnight on weekdays from Monday 2nd February until Tuesday 3rd March.
Closures will be in place Monday to Friday, 8pm to 6am.
The road will remain open as usual during the daytime and at weekends.
National Highways says this timing is being used because it is when there is the least amount of traffic on the road.
Why the work is happening
The resurfacing work is taking place to maintain and improve safety for everyone using the road. It is also intended to reduce the need for unplanned closures in the future.
Diversions in place
Signed diversion routes will be in operation via the B3301.
Eastbound traffic will:
-
Leave the A30 at St Erth roundabout
-
Follow the B3301
-
Continue through Hayle
-
Rejoin the A30 at Loggans Moor roundabout
Westbound traffic will:
-
Follow the same route in reverse
Drivers are being advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.
Important to note
Dates may change at short notice due to poor weather conditions or operational reasons. If the work cannot be completed as planned, it may continue beyond the dates stated. Closures can also change at short notice.
More information about the scheme is available on the National Highways website.
