An array of intriguing properties in St Austell and Fowey is set to go under the hammer in February as Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers hosts its first auction of 2025. With options ranging from a fire-damaged former school to a waterfront townhouse, this auction promises to catch the eye of developers, investors, and potential homeowners.

St Austell Highlights

Former Carclaze Infants School

A fire-damaged former school site in St Austell, located on Carclaze Road, is up for auction with a freehold guide price of £50,000 to £70,000. Cornwall Council has instructed the sale of the 0.35-hectare (0.86-acre) site, which includes significant hardstanding and offers potential for renovation or redevelopment, subject to planning consents.

David Henwood, auctioneer at Clive Emson, described the site as “a substantial site” with potential for a range of uses. Watch the video here.
