Bloor Homes launch in Cornwall off to a strong start

Bloor Homes has kicked off its first ever development in Cornwall with 12 new home reservations at Saltash — ten of them made before the official opening of its showhomes and sales centre earlier this month.

First Cornish Development Draws Interest

The housebuilder is currently working on phases 2 and 3 of the Treledan development, part of a wider plan to deliver 1000 new homes in the area. Bloor Homes is responsible for building 613 of those properties and has already seen strong demand.

Sara Parker, Sales Director for Bloor Homes’ Exeter region, said:
“To have this many reservations ahead of the launch and a further two at the launch of the new showhomes is fantastic, especially as this is our first development in Cornwall.”

Modern Living and Digital Tools

Bloor is building a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes at Treledan. The development features two fully furnished showhomes — a four bedroom Langley house and a four bedroom Dawlish house — which offer potential buyers a look at the builder’s design and finish.

Sara said the company is proud of its reputation as a national NHBC Five Star builder and of its energy-efficient homes designed for modern living.

Visitors to the site can now explore a new digital sales suite, which includes a 3D model allowing them to visualise the plot within the wider development.

“We are thrilled that visitors and purchasers can see the quality and detail we pride ourselves on,” said Sara. “We are also really pleased to be bringing our brand new, state-of-the-art digital sales suite to Treledan. It’s a fantastic tool!”

Community Facilities Planned

Once complete, the development will include parkland, children’s play areas, allotments, community orchards, forest gardens and sports pitches. Plans also include a new cycleway, a footbridge over the A38, and a new access roundabout from the main road.

Sara added: “Now the digital sales suite and showhomes are open we have so much to show people. We look forward to welcoming visitors to see it for themselves.”
