Man Assaulted by Moped Riders in Illogan

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by two moped riders in Illogan on Thursday 6th November.

What Police Say Happened

Shortly after 10pm, it was reported that the man saw two mopeds being ridden in a dangerous manner near McDonald’s in Pool.

The riders then followed him to Higher Broad Lane in Illogan, close to the Co op store. When he told them he was going to call the police, one of the riders used his bike to damage the man’s car.

Both riders then attacked him, punching him in the head before leaving the scene.

Police Appeal for Information

Officers are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant footage to come forward.
