Rope Rescue Operation Saves Dog and Owner

Porthoustock Coastguard Rescue Team was paged on 16th September to assist in a rescue mission at Kynance Cove. A dog and its owner had become stranded down a cliff, prompting a full rope rescue operation.

Teams from Mullion Coastguard Rescue, Porthleven Coastguard Rescue, and a Senior Coastal Operations Officer from Falmouth Coastguard joined forces to ensure the safe recovery of both the dog and its owner. Fortunately, neither sustained injuries, and the rescue was completed successfully.
