Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Collision Near Boyton
Police appeal for witnesses following serious crash near Launceston
Police are appealing for information after a man in his 70s suffered life-changing injuries in a motorcycle collision near Boyton, just outside Launceston, on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services called to B3254
Emergency services were called shortly after 2pm on Saturday 2nd August following a collision involving a red Honda motorcycle on the B3254. The rider, described as a local man in his 70s, was seriously hurt in the crash.
He was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by air ambulance due to the severity of his injuries.
Road closed for five hours
Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the scene and closed the road for five hours to carry out investigation work.
Enquiries are ongoing, and police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
