Vandalism Strikes: Liskeard’s Public Toilets Shut Down
Liskeard residents are facing inconvenience after the men’s toilets at Westbourne Car Park were closed due to vandalism. The closure was announced by Liskeard Town Council, which assured the public that they are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Alternative Facilities Available
In the meantime, those in need of public restroom facilities can use the toilets at The Public Hall or Sungirt Car Park. These alternative locations have been suggested by the Council to minimise disruption for residents and visitors.
Facilities Team’s Hard Work Undermined
The vandalism has been a blow to the Facilities team, who put in considerable effort to maintain the town’s amenities. The Council expressed its disappointment over the incident, emphasising that such acts of vandalism are disheartening for the team and the community as a whole.
Liskeard Town Council is committed to restoring the damaged facilities and is urging the public to be patient while the repairs are being carried out.
