Community Workshop Set for 17th February

Liskeard residents, business owners, and community representatives are invited to take part in a Town Vision Workshop to help shape the future of the town. The event will take place on Monday 17th February 2025 at 5.30pm at the Public Hall, Liskeard, with spaces filling up fast.

Who’s Behind the Project?

Liskeard Town Council has brought in HemingwayDesign, a team of urban and multidisciplinary designers, to develop a community-led Vision and Action Plan for the town. The team has already conducted an assessment of Liskeard, looking at key sites and existing projects, and has met with local businesses, officers, and stakeholders during visits on 12th and 13th December.

The workshop will allow residents to have their say on how Liskeard should develop and respond to challenges it faces. HemingwayDesign will work with the community to outline a clear plan for the town’s future.

How to Take Part

The project is funded by a grant from the Cornwall Council Town Accelerator Fund, and the workshop is open to all individuals, businesses, and local groups. However, spaces are limited, and those interested in attending should book their place soon.
