Man Charged After Alleged Assault in Looe

A man has been charged following an alleged assault in the Fore Street area of Looe during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Man Found Unconscious with Serious Head Injury

Police were called to the town centre at around 12:35am on Sunday 13th July, where they found a man unconscious on the ground. He was taken to hospital with a serious head injury and continues to receive treatment.

Teen Remanded in Custody

Oliver Palmer, 18, from Trenant Road in Looe, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He appeared at Bodmin Magistrates’ Court on Monday 14th July and has been remanded in custody.

Police have not released any further details at this time.
