Crowded House Set to Ignite Eden Sessions Tonight with Iconic Hits

The renowned Australasian rock band Crowded House is set to launch this year’s Eden Sessions tonight, Wednesday, June 12, marking the beginning of an exciting summer of music at the Eden Project.

A Storied Legacy

Formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1985, Crowded House has cemented their place in rock history with a legacy that spans decades. The band has sold 15 million albums globally and boasts four number one albums in Australia. Their accolades include 13 ARIA Awards, an MTV Video Music Award, and a BRIT Award.

Their self-titled debut album, released in 1986, achieved platinum status in four countries and featured timeless hits like “Don’t Dream It’s Over” and “Something So Strong.” “Don’t Dream It’s Over” became an international sensation, reaching number one in New Zealand and Canada, and climbing to number two on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Latest Endeavours

Crowded House’s latest album, “Dreamers Are Waiting,” released in 2021, is their first full album in 11 years. The album won an ARIA Award for Best Adult Contemporary Album, reaffirming the band’s enduring appeal and musical relevance.

Special Guest Liam Finn

Joining the band tonight is special guest Liam Finn. As the son of Crowded House frontman Neil Finn, Liam has forged his own path in the music world. A Collaborative Effort

The Eden Sessions are organised by Eden Sessions Ltd, a partnership formed in September 2019 between the Eden Project and global live events company AEG Presents. Additionally, in September 2021, Volvo Car UK announced a three-year partnership as the Official Automotive Partner of the Eden Project and the Eden Sessions, a deal facilitated by AEG Global Partnerships.
