Penzance Band All For Jolly to Release “LIFEBLOOD” in January

Published On: 4 January 2026Last Updated: 4 January 2026By

Penzance based folk punk band All For Jolly have announced a new single titled LIFEBLOOD, placing the spotlight on the growing pressure facing grassroots music venues across the UK.

The release sits at the centre of a wider campaign focused on the ongoing closure of small independent venues, which the band describe as vital to the survival of emerging artists.

New Single Release Dates Confirmed

LIFEBLOOD will be released via Patreon and Bandcamp on Monday 12th January 2026. A full release across all major streaming platforms will follow on Friday 16th January 2026.

According to the band, the track is both a tribute to independent venues and a reflection on the realities facing the grassroots music scene. These include rising costs, redevelopment, and increasing financial pressure on DIY artists.

A Personal Issue for the Band

All For Jolly say the issue is deeply personal. Having built their career touring the UK grassroots circuit, they credit small independent venues as the foundation of their journey and as essential spaces for new artists to develop.

“Grassroots venues are the lifeblood of bands like ours,” the band explain. “They’re where scenes exist at all. Without them and without proper support making music becomes impossible for so many people.”

Final Full Band Tour Announced

Following the release of LIFEBLOOD, All For Jolly will tour the UK throughout February 2026. The dates will mark the band’s final tour as a full band for the foreseeable future.

They say rising costs and the challenges of remaining fully independent have made extended touring increasingly difficult to sustain.

The single and tour together underline the campaign’s core message that the fight to keep grassroots venues open is closely tied to the challenges faced by the artists who rely on them. Fans will be encouraged to support local venues, attend shows, and buy tickets in advance wherever possible.
