Lusty Glaze Beach Marks 100 Nights of Live Music

Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay has officially hit a major milestone this summer, completing its “100 Nights of Music” series with a season full of unforgettable performances by the sea.

A Summer of Live Music by the Ocean

From laid-back acoustic sets at sunset to high-energy DJ sessions under the stars, the iconic Cornish beach became a hotspot for live music lovers. The team has confirmed they’ve reached their ambitious goal of hosting 100 nights of live music by the ocean.

“Over the past season, 100 Nights of Music has showcased the very best of Cornwall’s thriving grassroots scene, bringing together an incredible mix of local artists, performers and audiences, right here at Lusty Glaze!” said Tracey Griffiths, Owner at Lusty Glaze Beach.

“Each evening offered something unique, from intimate performances against glowing skies to unforgettable beach parties that carried long into the night!”

Celebrating the 100th Night

To mark the occasion, Lusty Glaze will welcome Our Atlantic Roots for a special performance on Wednesday 29th October, celebrating the 100th night in true Lusty Glaze style. The folk-inspired duo will perform against the backdrop of one more golden Cornish sunset before the beach’s live sessions continue into the colder months.

Music to Last Through the Seasons

The Lusty Glaze team has confirmed that their much-loved sessions won’t stop here. Weekly live performances will continue through autumn, winter and into 2026, bringing warmth, community and great music to the sands all year round.

“Cornwall’s music scene is alive and buzzing, and we couldn’t be prouder to have given so many emerging artists a stage by the sea,” added Tracey. “This milestone belongs as much to our performers as it does to our amazing community who’ve joined us, danced with us, and made every night unforgettable. We can’t wait to keep the music playing!”

The team also extended thanks to Nicholson, their brand partner behind the beach’s cocktail creations that have accompanied countless sunsets this summer and will continue to do so as the seasons roll on.
