Newquay RNLI’s Most Successful Harvest Festival Auction Raises £2,503
Newquay RNLI Lifeboats celebrated their most successful Harvest Festival Auction to date last Sunday, raising an impressive £2,503 for their vital work saving lives at sea. The event, which drew support from local businesses, volunteers, RNLI supporters, and lifeboat crew members, was a true community effort.
Community Support
The event’s success was made possible by the hard work and generosity of everyone involved. The funds raised will go directly to supporting the lifeboat station and its volunteers, who are committed to their mission of saving lives at sea.
Stormy Stan’s New Home
One of the highlights of the evening was RNLI’s charity mascot, Stormy Stan, who was one of the lots auctioned off. The beloved mascot has now found a new home with one of Newquay RNLI’s dedicated shore crew volunteers, where he will take pride of place.
Newquay RNLI expressed their gratitude to all who contributed, ensuring that the funds raised will continue to support the vital work of their volunteer crew.
